Background

Abigail Hornsby began her career in criminal appeals, first at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and then at the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office. While at the AG’s Office, she drafted more than 100 appellate briefs and regularly presented oral arguments before the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. She also completed advanced legal writing training, including a course with Bryan Garner.

Abigail founded Benedicta Law, PLLC, to focus fully on legal research and writing. Now, she uses her experience to help attorneys and organizations manage writing-intensive litigation and produce high-quality written work product.
